MAHWAH, N.J. – A strong first half lifted Ramapao College to a win over the Centenary University field hockey team on Saturday afternoon.
Ramapo jumped out to a 9-0 lead at the half and claimed the victory.
Katie Yarussi had three goals and one assist for the Roadrunners in the first half while
Talitha Joustra had a goal and an assist.
Jenyfer Pereira made nine saves in the first half for the Cyclones.
The two teams continued to battle in the second half as Ramapo claimed the 9-0 victory.
Michelle Kukan started and was not forced to make a save in the first half for Ramapo.
Sam Conrad did not have to make a save in the second half. Pereira made the nine first half saves for the Cyclones.
Emma Cahill was not forced to make a save in the second half.
Centenary is back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 21 when it travels to Misericordia for a 7 p.m. game.
