Volleyball Tripped Up at FDU Florham

MADISON, N.J. – Freshman Mya Burnett and sophomore Alyssa Bizzarro each had five kills to lead the Centenary University volleyball team in a loss to FDU-Florham on Monday night.

The Devils hit .304 with 13 service aces en route to set wins of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-9.

Burnett had five kills and two blocks for the Cyclones while Bizzarro had five kills and seven digs. Senior Amelia Rodriguez dished out 15 assists with five digs while sophomore Martina Josifoska contributed a team-high nine digs.

Rachel Reiter led FDU Florham with nine kills while Erin Ahart had 10 digs and 17 assists.

Centenary is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 18 when it hosts Cheyney at 12 p.m.
