HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Sophomore
Alyssa Bizzarro had a team-high 15 digs to lead the Centenary University volleyball team in match two of its tri-match in Reeves Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
The Cyclones fell to Rutgers Camden and King's (Pa.) by 3-0 scores Saturday.
Rutgers Camden Recap: Rutgers Camden hit .386 with 17 service aces en route to the win over the Cyclones.
The Scarlet Raptors won by set scores of 25-4, 25-19, 25-12.
Bizzarro had three kills, three service aces and three digs in the match for the Cyclones. Senior
Amelia Rodriguez contributed eight assists while sophomore
Martina Josifoska finished with seven digs and three service aces.
Isabella Choice had nine kills and two blocks for Rutgers Camden.
King's (Pa.) Recap: King's hit .265 and recorded seven service aces in a win over the Cyclones.
The Monarchs posted set wins of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-16.
Bizzarro had a team-high 15 digs and six kills to lead the Cyclones while Josifoska had 13 digs. Rodriguez finished with 22 assists while
Emerald Richard added seven kills.
Olivia Bunch led King's with 13 kills while
Karissa Hartzell had 17 digs.
Centenary will be back in action on Monday, Sept. 13 when it hosts FDU Florham at 7 p.m.
