This past Sunday February 9th, an IHSA All Region Horse Show was hosted by Centenary University. Centenary's sixty person team worked diligently on Friday and Saturday getting the horses and barn ready for the eight competing schools' arrival on Sunday. The Cyclones demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship resulting in Centenary coming out on top with an almost a perfect point card and a significantly large point lead at the end of the day!  Centenary IHSA won High Point Team with Marist College as Reserve High Point Team.  The highlights of the day include Samantha Hanson (Jr) taking High Point Rider in Open Over Fences and Open Flat.  Then sophomores Arielle LoGiudice, Madison Myro, and Tazmyn Geere all tied for Reserve High Point Rider. The tie had to be broken by answering a few different Equine Health-related questions and Arielle LoGiudice came out on top. The Centenary horses were great throughout the day and overall the show was successful and ran smoothly. We are grateful for the support from all the parents and team members that did not show and would also like to thank Centenary University President, Dr. Bruce Murphy, for coming to watch.
