UNION, N.J. – Freshman
Sydnie Bogan made a season-high 16 saves to lead the Centenary University field hockey team at No. 20 Kean University on Tuesday night.
The Cougars jumped out to an 8-0 halftime lead and claimed an 11-0 victory.
Melissa Way led Kean with three first half goals.
Bogan tallied five saves in the first 15 minutes of the game and added 11 saves in the second quarter. Bogan's 16 saves in the first half are the third most saves by a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) goalkeeper this season.

Emma Cahill took Bogan's place in goal to start the third quarter and did not allow a goal while making two saves.

Jordan Vandermark registered a shot for the Cyclones in the third quarter.
Kean scored three more times in the fourth quarter as freshman
Jenyfer Pereira made four saves for the Cyclones.
Belly Reynoso earned the win in goal for the Cougars as she played the first half in cage and did not make a save. The trio of Cyclone keepers combined for 22 saves, which is tied for the most saves by a CSAC squad this season.
Centenary is back in action as it begins CSAC play by traveling to Lancaster Bible on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
