CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Sophomore
Amelia Rodriguez had a team-high nine digs to lead the Centenary University volleyball team against Clarks Summit University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match on Saturday morning.
The Defenders picked up set wins of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-10 for the 3-0 victory.
Rodriguez also contributed four assists and two kills to go along with her nine digs for the Cyclones. Freshman
Emerald Richard contributed five kills while seniors
Brielle Gensinger and
Melissa Krueger each had seven digs.
Beth Muhlenkamp led Clarks Summit with 13 kills and 12 digs while
Alexa Wagner had 31 assists.
The Cyclones are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 2 when they host a tri-match. Centenary will take on Notre Dame (Md.) and York (N.Y.) that day and will celebrate its seniors prior to the start of the day.
