Garcia Leads Volleyball in Loss to Bryn Athyn

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Junior Leandra Garcia hit .400 with six kills to lead the Centenary University volleyball team against Bryn Athyn College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on Wednesday night.

The Lions won the sets by 25-18, 25-15 and 25-6 scores for the 3-0 victory.

Garcia's had her six kills on 15 attempts with no errors and added three digs and a solo block for the Cyclones. Senior Melissa Krueger contributed four kills and three assists while fellow senior Brielle Gensinger had a team-high eight digs. Sophomore Anabelle Olivo had four assists and six digs.

Hannah Dewees led Bryn Athyn with 17 kills and seven digs while Chloe Levan and Lex Juritsch each had 10 digs.

The Cyclones return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 23 when they host Keystone at 7 p.m.
