HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Centenary University women's soccer team tied the program record for single-game goals in a 10-0 victory over Brooklyn College on Monday afternoon.

Centenary ran its win streak to four straight matches and all four have come via the shutout. It is the first time since 2014 that the Cyclones have posted four straight shutouts.

The Cyclones got off to a quick start with three goals in the first 10 minutes of the game. Senior Amanda Benoit scored the game's first goal and that score was followed closely by a pair of goals from junior Chloe Christopher.

Benoit then struck for her second of the game off a pass from Christopher at 12:57.

Christopher completed her first career hat trick with her third goal of the game at 14:43.

Freshman Amanda Lebelt capped the first half scoring with her third goal of the season at 19:53.

For the second straight game, the Cyclones carried a 6-0 lead into the half. Centenary held a 16-3 advantage in shots in the first 45 minutes and took five of the game's six corner kicks. Junior Justine Stefura made two first half saves for the Cyclones.

Centenary scored four goals in the second stanza, a period that was highlighted by the first career goals for freshman Sandra Cosenzo and sophomore Tessa Ferentinos.

Consenzo's goal opened the second half scoring and came off a pass from junior Haley Hobbs. Senior Kristin Karszen made it an 8-0 game as her shot from the top of the box found the back of the net at 67:52.

Ferentinos tallied her goal off a pass from Lebelt before Hobbs capped the scoring with a goal off a pass from junior Raeanna Cope.

Stefura made five saves to earn her fourth straight win in goal. Amanpreet Kaur made a pair of saves for Brooklyn before leaving the game with an injury. Ketty Pena made six saves in relief work for the Bulldogs.

Christopher led the Cyclones with seven points on three goals and one assist. Benoit finished with four points on the two goals while Lebelt, Karszen and Hobbs each had three points after posting a goal and an assist.
