Williams and O'Hara Named Cyclones of the Week

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - A big second half and a personal best on the course led juniors Stephanie Williams and Cailin O'Hara to be named the Cyclones of the Week on CentenaryCyclones.com on Tuesday morning.

Williams, who is a midfielder for the Centenary women's soccer team, had a big second half as the Cyclones beat Keystone, 5-0 for their second CSAC victory of the year. She finished with five points after scoring a pair of goals with an assist. Williams scored her goals within 3:43 of each other and now leads the team with six goals on the year. She also picked up an assist on the Cyclones' final goal of the game. Williams' strong performance means the Cyclones were able to start conference play 2-0 for the second straight year.

Williams and the Cyclones are back in action this afternoon as they travel to Rosemont for a 4 p.m. game.

O'Hara, from the cross country team, ran a personal best at the Paul Short Invitational for the Cyclones. She continues to show improvement each week in the 6k event. O'Hara's time of 38:04 at the Paul Short race was nearly three minutes better than her time from the first 6k of the season (41:27 at the SUNY Purchase Invitational).

O'Hara and the Cyclones are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 6 when they travel to the NJIT Invitational.
