WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Sept. 6, 2017)- Sophomore
Nicci Veras (Newark, N.J. / Shabazz) tallied seven digs as the Centenary University volleyball team were swept by King's College, 3-0 (25-5, 25-2, 25-8) in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.
Jill Korgeski totaled nine kills and nine digs for the Monarchs who improve to 3-0 overall. Junior
Valentina Suizzo (North Haledon, N.J. / Eastern Christian) finished with three digs and one kill for the Cyclones who fall to 1-4 overall.
The Monarchs remained undefeated with a wire-to-wire victory, including posting a .619 and .688 hitting percentage in the opening two sets. King's held the Cyclones to single digit points in all three sets, including not allowing an offensive point in the entire second set.

Melissa Krueger (Long Valley, N.J. / West Morris Central) added two assists and a dig, while freshman
Leandra Garcia (Plainfield, N.J. / Central Jersey College Prep) tallied two digs and one kill.
