Na'imah Spells (Irvington, N.J. / Irvington) tallied 10 digs as the Centenary University volleyball team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference match to Cabrini University, 3-0 on Thursday evening.
Kelly Guarino totaled 11 aces, eight digs and seven kills for the Cavaliers who improve to 2-8 overall and 2-0 in the CSAC. Sophomore
Zoey Woody (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick) finished with eight digs, four assists and two aces for the Cyclones who fall to 1-11 overall and 0-3 in the CSAC.
Cabrini dominated the match from start to finish as they averaged a .375 hitting percentage, including recording above a .200 hitting percentage in all three sets. Â
Senior
Jamie Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with five digs and two kills, while sophomore
Giani Montalvo (Elizabeth, N.J. / Elizabeth) added a kill for Cyclones. Emily Stokarski totaled 26 assists, five digs and five aces, while Chelsea Jones recorded seven kills and two blocks for the Cavaliers.
Head Coach
Kelsey Walter and the Cyclones will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 24, hosting the Falcons of Cedar Crest College at 1:00 p.m.
