ASTON, Pa. (Oct. 15, 2016)- Sophomore
Amanda Benoit (Hazlet, N.J. / Raritan) totaled a goal and two assists as the Centenary University women's soccer team pushed their win streak to five with a 3-0 win against Neumann University in CSAC play on Saturday afternoon.
The Cyclones improve to 7-6-0 overall and 6-2-0 in the CSAC, while Neumann falls to 7-6-1 and 4-3-1 in conference play.
Senior
Jessie Sharr (Belvidere, N.J. / Belvidere) gave the Cyclones the early lead as she scored 91 seconds into the game with Benoit earning her first assist of the day.
Centenary added a pair of goals in the second half as Benoit chipped in a goal in the 55th minute and assisted on a goal by freshman
Chloe Christopher (Flemington, N.J. / Hunterdon Central) in the 88th minute.
Despite Neumann's 16-10 shot advantage, junior keeper was stellar in net as she posted nine saves as she played all 90 minutes. Neumann also held the edge in corner kicks 6-3.

Kevin Davies and the Cyclones will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 19 as they host Cedar Crest College for a 4 pm conference match.
