Christopher Muce (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) all went undefeated as the Centenary College wrestling team competed in a tri-match against Ursinus College and the University of Scranton on Sunday.
Match ResultsUrsinus 39, Centenary 13Muce, Sibblies and Wagner were the only Cyclones to record victories in the opening match of the afternoon. Muce won by decision against Alexander Kramer at 141, Wagner won by major decision against Jarret DiGiantomasso at 165 and Sibblies pinned Robert Endy in a time of 2:20 at 174. Senior
Joey Ragsdale (Bethlehem Twp., N.J. / North Hunterdon) lost a tough 6-4 decision to Nickolas Suk at 184.
Scranton 27, Centenary 23In the second match of the afternoon, freshman
Joe Zargo (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) and junior
Jeff Rottingen (Ramsey, N.J. / Ramsey) joined Muce, Wagner and Sibblies in the win column. Zargo defeated Brandon Davis by decision at 125 and Rottingen defeated Liam Gallagher by a major decision at 141. Muce and Wagner both recorded pinfall victories over Danny O'Neill and Zachary D'Apolito, while Sibblies posted a major decision over Andrew Gombas.
