Kelsey Walter earned her first career victory and snapped a 40 game losing streak in decisive fashion with a 3-0 sweep of the Panthers of SUNY Old Westbury. Senior
Vanessa McKellar (Annadale, N.J. / North Hunterdon) recorded a season-high 15 kills, four service aces, two assists and posted a .394 hitting percentage for the Cyclones, who improve to 1-7 overall. Chelsey Hoffman finished with 10 digs and five kills for the Panthers who fall to 1-2 overall.
The Cyclones never trailed in the first two sets (25-19, 25-15) and only trailed once in the closing set (25-11). Centenary averaged a .228 hitting percentage for the match, including posting a .353 hitting percentage in the final set.

Na'imah Spells (Irvington, N.J. / Irvington) totaled a season-high 25 digs, while fellow classmate
Jamie Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with nine digs and seven kills. Freshmen
Ashley Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) and
Zoey Woody (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick) combined for 26 assists, while Woody finished with six service aces and Bierbaum finished with six digs. Freshman
Krysta Astengo (Clifton, N.J. / Clifton) finished with two blocks, while fellow classmate
Giani Montalvo (Elizabeth, N.J. / Elizabeth) recorded three kills and a block.

th, against the Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland University. The Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
