HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Sept. 15, 2015)- Junior
Na'imah Spells (Irvington, N.J./Irvington) totaled 14 digs as the Centenary College volleyball team dropped its Colonial States Athletic Conference opener to the Giants of Keystone College, 3-0 this evening.
Hannah Zuchowski recorded 11 kills for the Giants who improve to 5-1 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC. Senior
Vanessa McKellar (Annadale, N.J. / North Hunterdon) finished with eight kills for the Cyclones who fall to 0-7 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC.
Keystone controlled the first two sets, 25-15 and 25-12, before the Cyclones took an early lead in the third set. Junior

(Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) and freshman
Giani Montalvo (Elizabeth, N.J. / Elizabeth) combined to serve for five points, which allowed Centenary to take its largest lead of the match at 9-4. The Giants would use their deep bench and height on the front line to rally and complete the sweep with a 25-19 victory in the third set.
Bierbaum added four service aces, four digs and three kills while freshman
Ashley Bierbaum (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) finished with six assists and five digs. Sidney Binkley finished with a match-high 19 assists, while freshman
Zoey Woody (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick) finished with six assists.
