Radnor, PA – The Centenary volleyball team took to the road last night to face CSAC opponent Cabrini College. The Cavaliers defeated the Cyclones in three straight sets to improve 19-5 overall and 8-0 in league play, while Centenary drops to 0-29 and 0-9 in conference.
The Cavaliers dominated the first two sets as they went on 5-0 and 8-0 runs to end the sets with a score of 25-5 and 25-6.
The Cyclones jumped out to an early 9-4 lead in the third set but the Cavaliers would regain the lead midway through the set to end the match 25-12.
Centenary's offense was led by
Andrea Martorana (West Milford, NJ / Indian Hills) with two kills,
Brianne Allender (Toms River, NJ / Central Regional) also chipped in two kills,
one ace and eight digs.
Myriah Cockburn (Annandale, NJ / Annandale) and
Tiana Watson (Montclair, NJ / Montclair) both registered one kill apiece.
Centenary will host Marywood University for their final home match of the season October 27
th @ 7:00pm.
