Darling did a little bit of everything during the Cyclones' opening week of CSAC play. She went 2-1 with a 2.85 ERA in the circle and also recorded four hits, three RBIs and three runs scored at the plate. 

Darling was strong in the circle as she started her week with seven innings of five run ball in the 10-5 win over Keystone. She also tossed two innings of relief work against the Giants in game two. On Friday in the first game against Notre Dame, Darling went three innings and allowed just one hit while striking out six to pick up her second win of the week. She came on in relief in game two against the Gators and went 0.2 innings while allowing just one hit. Darling suffered the tough luck loss against Cabrini despite going seven innings and allowing just two runs in game one.

At the plate she went 2-for-4 with a run scored in game one against Keystone. She had a hit in each of the games against Notre Dame and drove in a combined three runs in the two games.
