Biography

2011-12 (Senior): Competed in 18 matches for an overall record of 16-2...took home Second Place at the 197 lb. Metropolitan Conference Championships after getting injured in the championship match...recorded three pins, one tech fall, five decisions, and seven major decisions on the year...took two first-place finishes at regular season tournaments at 184 lbs.

2010-11 (Junior): Received All-American honors by finishing in seventh place in the NCAA Wrestling Championships…finished season with a 15-1 record, including 7-1 in tournament action and 8-0 in duals…also recorded 10 pins, four major decisions and four techincal falls…won the Metropolitan Conference Tournament at 197-pounds…two-time Cyclone of the Week winner.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Wrestled at 197-pounds for Division I Edinboro in Edinboro, Pa.…finished the year 8-6, all in tournament action…took sixth at the Nittany Lion Open on Nov. 29.

2008-09 (Freshman): Wrestled at Johnson and Wales in Providence, R.I.

High School and Personal Data: Two-sport athlete at Chatham High School…three-time team captain…three-time district finalist…as a senior was Regional 3 champion and had undefeated 38-0 record heading into New Jersey state championship before suffering an injury…named First Team All-Area and All-Conference…also a member of the football team…served as team captain as a senior…earned First Team All-Area and Second Team All-State…majoring in Business Sports Management…."I came to Centenary because I saw Centenary as the best opportunity to become a national champion and graduate."
