At Morris Hills H.S.:  Wrestled for four years for coach Brian Bollette ... was a Third Team All-American his junior year as a wrestler ... also played football for four years and ran track for two seasons ... was First Team All-Conference selection for football his senior year ... also played on his state champion football team in 2016 . 

Personal: Son of Robert and Kim Heslin ... has a younger sister, Kate ... his life mantra is, "just send it" ... the person he admires most is his grandfather ... his career objective is to become a state trooper ... enjoys cheering for the New York Jets ... his favorite line from a movie is,”Say hello to my little friend”, from Scarface ... most memorable experience is winning a state championship as a football player ... has not decided on a major yet.
