Jim Rocco

Jim Rocco, a long-time PGA Professional in the area, was named the head golf coach at Centenary University in the summer of 2018.

Rocco, who grew up in Hackettstown, spent seven years as the PGA Head Professional at Hidden Hills Golf Course, which is now Minebrook Country Club. He also served as the Assistant Pro at Mt. Tabor Country Club in Denville for three years.

Throughout his career as a golf professional, he has helped establish junior and adult golf programs. Rocco has spent over 15,000 hours working and giving playing instructions to all ages and caliber of players.

He attended Scranton University before graduating from Montclair State University. Rocco played basketball and baseball during his collegiate career.

Rocco continues to remain active in the local golf community.

Rocco is currently a real estate broker and resides in Sparta with his wife and has three grown children.
