NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Centenary University women's soccer team fell to John Jay College, 4-0, Wednesday evening at Randall's Island.
John Jay scored four times in the opening half, with Sofia Soler and Natalie Mack each finding the back of the net twice. The Cyclones responded with a strong defensive effort after halftime, holding the Bloodhounds scoreless while generating five of their six shots in the second half.
Elizabeth Fogarty led the Centenary attack with three shots, including two on goal. Emily Piser and Emily Ayala each added a shot on goal, while Naveah O'Keefe finished with 12 saves in net.
Centenary moves to 0-7 on the season.
