The Cyclones came out firing in the opening set, overwhelming Rosemont with a 25-1 victory. Junior Jennifer Thistlethwaite sparked the dominant start, reeling off 20 straight serves to give Centenary complete control early on.
The second set brought more of the same, as the Cyclones maintained their sharp play on both ends of the court to cruise to a 25-12 win. Centenary then closed the match in emphatic fashion, rolling to a 25-2 victory in the third set to seal the sweep.
With the victory, Centenary improves to 5-5 on the season while gaining its rhythm and confidence heading into the next stretch of the season. The Cyclones will have the weekend off before returning to action on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. road matchup at Valley Forge.
