Hackettstown, NJ - The Centenary University men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Neumann University on Wednesday afternoon in their second conference matchup of the season.
The Cyclones struggled to find offensive rhythm against a sharp Neumann defense, being limited to just two shots on goal in the contest.
Sean Quinones, who continues to put together a strong campaign for Centenary, recorded one of those attempts, while freshman
Thierry Berinyuy Ngwa added the other, showing promise in his debut season.
After a tough first half, senior goalkeeper
Christian Ruiz entered the match in relief and delivered a strong performance, keeping a clean sheet over his 45 minutes of action. His steady presence helped settle the Cyclones defensively through the second half.
Centenary will look to regroup quickly as they return home at 3pm this Saturday for Senior Day, where they'll honor their graduating class before another important conference showdown with Marywood University.
