HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Centenary University Men's Soccer team dropped their conference matchup with Marywood University on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 4-1. Despite the result, the day carried special meaning as the Cyclones honored their seniors in a pregame ceremony celebrating their dedication and contributions to the program.

The game took a difficult turn late in the first half when Centenary was reduced to 10 players following a red card in the 39th minute. Playing a man down for the remainder of the match, the Cyclones battled hard but struggled to contain Marywood's attack.

Marywood capitalized on the advantage, building a lead that proved too much to overcome. Centenary's lone goal came in the 78th minute when Harrison Samayoa Lopez converted from the penalty spot, giving the Cyclones a well-deserved moment of celebration late in the match.

Despite the loss, the Cyclones showed determination and heart throughout the contest, continuing to push forward even while shorthanded.

Centenary will look to regroup and bounce back this weekend when they return home to face Saint Elizabeth University in another key conference matchup.
