Women's Volleyball Swept In Tri-Match

Langhorne, PA: The Cyclones traveled to Cairn University for a tri-match against the Highlanders and Washington College Shorewomen. The Clones lost both matches by a score of 3-0. Their record falls to 2-9 on the season. 


Game One (Washington College, 16-25,18-25,11-25) 

The Clones would score just forty-five points as they fell to the Shorewomen. Poppy Skjonnemand (12) and Jenny Thistlethwaite (7) would lead the way in kills. Thistlethwaite would lead the team in aces with three. Vanessa Pagano (17) would lead the Clones in assists and Asia Logan would lead the way in digs with ten. 


Game Two (Cairn University, 20-25, 20-25, 20-25)

Game Two would look a lot better offensively for the Clones but they fell just short of five points in each of the three sets. Once again, Poppy Skjonnemand (15) and Jenny Thistlethwaite (6) would lead the way in kills. Vanessa Pagno would have a team-high of twenty-six assists. Defensively, Cameron Fulcher and Thistlethwaite would each have two blocks. Skjonnemand would lead the Clones with twelve digs.
