Women's Volleyball Drops Two On The Second Day

Lancaster, PA: The Cyclones fall to 0-4 on the season, after losses against Moravian, and Washington (Md.). Against Moravian, the won one set, and were swept in their match-up against Washington (Md.).

Game One

In game one, the Cyclones were held to fifty-one points on offense. These points came courtesy of thirty seven kills, ten service aces, and four blocks. Leading the team in kills were Poppy Skjonnemand (16), Jenny Thistlethwaite (9), and Ava Estrada (5), as the three combined for thirty of the teams' 
thirty seven kills. Vanessa Pagano (5) would go on to lead the team in service aces, with Asia Logan (3), and Thistlethwaite also earning multipe aces in the match. Similar to day one, Vanessa Pagano (15), and Kim Stallworth (11) would lead the team in assists, with Senior Isabelle Moreira recording an assist. Skjonnemand (15), Logan (10), Thistlethwaite (7), accounted for thirty-two of the teams' fifty two digs.

Game Two

Offensively, the Cyclones were held to nineteen points, on sixteen kills, one service ace, and two blocks. Poppy Skjonnemand (10), Jenny Thistlethwaite (4), and Cameron Fulcher (1), would go on to lead the team in kills. The lone ace of the second game would come from Skjonnemand, late in the first set. Both blocks in game two came from Fulcher. Vanessa Pagano assisted on eleven of the teams kills. Thistlethwaite (10), Asia Logan (8),and Skjonnemand (4) were the team leaders in digs.
