Hackettstown, NJ: Cyclones take game one in first weekend of conference play, against Marywood. The final score was 12-6.

Rolling On the Mound

Once again dominating on the mound was sophomore Zack Gehman. Gehman tossed 5.0 innings allowing just two runs while picking up six strikeouts, putting him at a season total of twenty-three. Also, jumping on the mound for the Cyclones, was freshman pitcher Louie Vassallo. Vassallo allowed zero runs and zero hits in his 3.1 innings of work.

Bats On Fire

The Cyclones offense continues to impress at the plate as the team ended the game with a .452 batting average. This is the third time this season that the Cyclones compiled over a .400 batting average this season.

Leading the way for the Clones would be Anthony Vassallo, Brandon Smith, Nicholas Gattuso, Dominick Chiego, Nick Payne, and Jake Keenan, as they each provided multiple hits on the day. Gattuso produced four of the eleven runs batted in for the team.
