Hackettstown, NJ: Softball splits once again to open up Atlantic East play. In game one the Lady Cyclones fell to the Mighty Macs of Immaculata by a score of 5-4. The Cyclones turned around and picked up a win in game two with a score of 7-2.
Hitting Machines
The Lady Clones picked up fifteen hits on the day. Despite losing game one, Maggie Lenahan, Jessica Burlew, Jayden Pennella, and Sierra Kaye all had two hits. In game two, the Clones managed to score seven runs on only four hits. Madison Passanante had a two-run double to seal the Lady Clones third win of the season and the first conference win of the season.
In the Circle
In the circle for the Clones today was Kelly Ann Earrusso and Julia Campen. Campen pitched a total of 11.0 innings and picked up her third win on the season.
Next, the Cyclones host Rutgers-Newark for a doubleheader on Thursday, March 23rd at 3 and 5 pm.
