Hackettstown, NJ: In all aspects of the game, the Cyclones dominated the opposing John Jay Bloodhounds by a score of 17-1.
Dominance on the mound
Zach Gehman would start on the mound for the Cyclones and would not fail to disappoint with an impressive outing. Gehman would rack up ten strikeouts, one hit allowed, and one run allowed throughout his six innings of work. Will Henderson and Xavier Krok would also hop on the mound allowing no hits and no runs scored.
Offensive Showing
The Cyclones offense would have themselves a day as they amassed a total of seventeen hits and runs scored. Graduate Student, Nick Gattuso, blasted the Cyclones first home run of the season with a two-run blast to left field in the bottom of the fifth inning. Marty Lucibello, James Howlett, and Jake Corropolese each contributed a double, putting the Cyclones at four total extra base hits on the day.
The Cyclones will look to extend their three game home win streak to five with a double header against Rosemont College, Saturday 3/18.
