Cyclones Split in Final Day of Play in Myrtle

Hackettstown, NJ: Softball splits once again in final day of play in Myrtle Beach, SC. In game one the Lady Cyclones, picked up a win against Eastern Nazarene College by a score of 9-3. In game two, the --Clones fell to PSU – Altoona in a close battle by a score of 7-5.

CLONES SWING AWAY

On the day, the offense for the Clones was once again electric as they would put up nineteen hits, and eleven runs batted in through both games. Sierra Kaye blasted a three-run homer giving the Clones in the bottom of the sixth inning, this is the first home run on the year for the Clones.

ON THE BUMP

On the mound for the Clones, Junior pitcher Kelly Ann Earrusso would pick up win number one the year allowing just three runs in four innings of work. Julia Campen would come in and dominate through three innings (G1) allowing zero runs and just three hits. Earrusso would also come in relief of Campen in game two putting her at nine innings pitched through both games.
