HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.- Centenary Men's Basketball fell in a wire-to-wire contest versus Penn College, 73-70. With the loss, the Clones fall to 5-7 on the season while the Wilcats improve to 5-5.

Tyler White and fifth year
Billy Veras combined for 48 of the teams 70 points. Poueriet led the way for Centenary with 17 points on 7-of-9 from the field while brining down six rebounds. White finished with 16 points and was a perfect 5-for-5 from the line, and Veras ended with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Grabbing the Boards
The clones out rebounded Penn College 50-44 in the game and grabbed13 offensive rebounds leading to 14 second chance points.
Bench Factor
Led by junior
Aalim Jones 10-points, Centenary's bench outscored the Wildcats 21-10.
Second Half
The Clones got back in the game with great play in the second half, outscoring their opponent 41-35. A last second buzzer-beater as time expired was called off to finish the game.
Next Up
Centenary travels to Marywood University on Wednesday, January 4 to open Atlantic East Conference Play. Tip-off for that game is scheduled for 8pm.
