SCRANTON, P.A.- 40-minutes of basketball was not enough to decide Atlantic East contest number one on the season for Centenary Men's Basketball. The Clones traveled to Marywood on Wednesday to open conference play and came out victorious, in overtime, 91-88. With the victory, the Cyclones improve to 5-7 (1-0) on the year while the Pacers fall to 6-6 (0-1).
Tail of Two Halves
Both teams took turns dominating a half offensively, with Centenary outscoring Marywood in half one, 47-34, while the Pacers flipped the script in half two, 48-34.
OT Rundown
Centenary controlled OT from the tip, scoring 45-seconds in and never giving up the lead. Graduate student
Tyler White sealed the game at the free throw line with two free throws to make it a two possession game with less than 10-seconds on the clock.
Bringing Down the Boards

Billy Veras cleaned up the boards all night on his way to a double-double. Veras led all players with 17 rebounds to go along with 14-points.
Double-Figures Party
Centenary had six different scorers in double figures on the night led by junior
Shawn Falk who finished with 19-points, going 9-of-16 (60%) from the field. To go along with Falk and Veras, junior
Isaac Poueriet added 15-points and four steals, White added 13, fifth year
Harrison Lucibello finished with 11-points and a 7-for-8 clip from the line and junior
Trevor Giordano added 10.
