MADISON, N.J. –
Blaise Vallorosi scored her second goal of the season to lead the Centenary University women's soccer team in a tough loss at Drew University on Sunday afternoon.
The host Rangers jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the half and eventually claimed the 10-1 win.
All four of Drew's first half goals came in the first 10 minutes of the game.
Alexa Krause and
Ayla Lopez each had a goal and an assist in that stretch.
Drew scored the first two goals of the second half and extended its lead to 6-0.
Vallorosi got the Cyclones on the board in the 61st minute as she bodied her way past the goalie and punched the ball home.
Drew scored the final four goals of the game to close out the victory.
Anthi Panayides was not forced to make a save to earn the win in goal for Drew.
Chelsea Estacio started and made four saves for the Cyclones before giving way to
Jordan Sievert, who recorded five saves in her Centenary debut.
Centenary is back in action on Thursday, Sept. 8 when it hosts Bryn Athyn at 4 p.m.
