Flores and Kopf Power Women's Soccer to 7-3 Win over Pratt

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Liliana Flores and Rebecca Kopf combined for five goals to lead the Centenary University women's soccer team to a 7-3 win over Pratt Institute on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cyclones wasted little time in getting on the board in this one. The home team struck twice in the first 10 minutes of the game for the 2-0 advantage. Flores scored off a nice pass from Blaise Vallorosi before Alissandra Auletta scored off a rebound off the post.

Centenary added to its lead at 25:52 as Kopf scored her first as a Cyclone off a cross from Vallorosi.

Pratt struck for one goal before the half, but the Centenary defense limited the visitors' chances. The Cyclones carried a 3-1 lead into the break.

The Cyclones scored the first three goals of the second half and increased their advantage to 6-1 at the 71:26 mark. Vallorosi scored her first of the day off a pass from Brelyn Cusano. Flores scored the next two goals to complete her first career hat trick.

Pratt broke up the Centenary run with a goal from Katherine Thomsen at 71:29.

Centenary wasn't done yet as Cusano put a ball into play on a corner kick at 76:27. The ball was delivered perfectly to Kopf, who connected for her second of the day and a 7-2 Centenary lead.

Pratt struck for one more goal from Thomsen, which made the final score in the contest 7-3.

Chelsea Estacio started and made four saves in 75:49 for the Cyclones. Emma Ferfecki played the final 14:11 in goal for the home team. Emma Gaspari made 10 saves for Pratt.
