ASTON, Pa. – Neumann University jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a win over the Centenary University men's lacrosse team on Saturday in Atlantic East action.
The Knights took a 10-0 lead after one period of play and eventually closed out a 30-2 victory.
Mike Kiley led Neumann with four goals and five assists for nine points and also contributed five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Emmett Wexler added three goals and two assists while
Jake Methlie had 12 faceoff wins and five ground balls.
Brandon Verderber and
Sean Menjivar each had a goal for the Cyclones.
Jason Toledo contributed seven ground balls and two faceoff wins while
AJ Puerto finished with nine faceoff wins.
Jake Marchiafava had three saves to earn the win in goal for Neumann.
Travis Austin made eight saves in the loss for Centenary.
The Cyclones are back in action on Wednesday, April 6 when they host Gwynedd Mercy at 4 p.m.
