Martina Josifoska had 17 digs to lead the No. 6 Centenary University volleyball team in a 3-0 loss to No. 3 Neumann University in the first round of the Atlantic East Tournament on Tuesday evening.
Buoyed by 16 service aces, Neumann took the match by set scores of 25-11, 25-19 and 25-15.
Alyssa Bizzarro contributed five kills and 13 digs for the Cyclones while
Kim Stallworth had eight assists and seven digs. Josifoska had a kill to go with her 17 digs.
Regan Hickey led Neumann with 11 kills, 12 digs and four service aces. Hickey was one of seven Knights to record at least one service ace in the match.
The match marked the final contest of senior
Allison Dombrowski's Centenary career.
