Women's Soccer Falls at Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. – Chelsea Estacio made a season-high 12 saves, but it was not enough as the Centenary University women's soccer team fell at Cabrini University, 2-0 in Atlantic East play on Wednesday night.

Estacio was under pressure early as she made fives saves in the first 12 minutes of the game.

Cabrini broke through for a goal at 16:06 as Danielle Rooney knocked home a pass from Madison Rooney.

Both teams continued to battle as Cabrini carried the 1-0 lead into the half.

Estacio picked up another save just 12 seconds into the second half.

Blaise Vallorosi got off a shot on goal at the 45:47 mark but it was turned away by Cavaliers' keeper Caroline Hassall.

Estacio picked up three more saves before Cabrini was able to strike one more time. Ella Marrollo found the back of the net at 56:41.

That proved to be enough as Cabrini claimed the 2-0 victory.

Hassall finished with two saves for Cabrini in the win. Estacio made six saves in each half.
