HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Freshman goalkeeper
Brandon Parra made eight saves, but it was not enough as the Centenary University men's soccer team fell to Cabrini University 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon in Atlantic East play.
Cabrini applied the pressure early, but Parra rose to the challenge making four saves in the first 30 minutes of the game.
The Cavaliers finally broke through at 30:43 as
Matt Duddy scored off a pass from
Nick Booth.
Cabrini added to its lead at 37:34 as
Jake Scully scored with the helper coming from
Kevin Davis.
The visitors carried that 2-0 advantage into the half.
Cabrini added a goal late as
Brian Sharkey scored on a pass from
Nick LoBiondo at 87:35. That closed out a 3-0 victory for the visitors.
MJ Graham made two saves in the win for Cabrini. Parra's eight saves were a season-high for the freshman.
Centenary is back in action on Monday, Oct. 17 when it hosts #13 Montclair State at 3 p.m.
