HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Senior
Jill Pullis scored to lead the Centenary University women's soccer team in a loss to Stockton University on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ospreys jumped out to 4-0 lead at the half and claimed a 6-1 victory.
Emily Hauck had a goal and an assist and
Erica Dietz had a pair of goals in the first 45 minutes of the contest to help the visitors take the 4-0 lead at the break.
Senior
Rachel Colt made a pair of first half saves for the Cyclones.
Stockton scored the first two goals of the second half and took a 6-0 lead in the 61st minute.
The Cyclones broke through in the 79th minute as Pullis scored off a touch from freshman
Cassandra Ferguson.
Stockton settled for the 6-1 victory.
Kylee Sullivan started the game and made one save in goal for Stockton.
Megan Brady made two saves in the second half for the Ospreys. Colt had the two first half saves for the Cyclones while graduate student
Chelsea Cordice made three saves in the second half.
Dietz had two goals to lead Stockton while Hauck had the goal and the assist.
Pullis led Centenary with the goal.
Centenary is back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 21 when it travels to Drew for a 7 p.m. contest.
