ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Centenary University women's basketball team rallied from 16-point second quarter deficit for a 69-55 win at Cedar Crest College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday. Four Cyclones scored in double figures and that group was led by sophomore
Taylor Bossert, who had 20 points.
Cedar Crest scored the first three baskets of the game and took a 6-0 lead with 8:14 to play in the first quarter.

Carmen Escano at 6:33 pulled the Cyclones to within one, 6-5.
The Cyclones and Falcons traded points as a three-point play from
Geminii Cabrera at 4:59 extended the Cedar Crest lead to 13-8.
Cedar Crest scored the final six points of the period and took a 21-9 lead after 10 minutes of play.
The Falcons scored the first four points of the second quarter and extended their lead to 25-9.
The Cyclones then exploded for an 18-0 run over a 7:49 stretch. That scoring spurt turned a 16-point deficit into a two-point advantage, 27-25 for the Cyclones. Sophomores

Victoria Jacobs and Bossert all had four points during that stretch.
Cedar Crest tallied a pair of free throws in the final 10 seconds of the quarter and the two teams went into the half tied at 27-27.
Meghan Gregory scored the first five points of the third quarter as Cedar Crest took a 32-27 lead with seven minutes to go in the period.
Centenary responded with an 10-0 run and took a 37-32 lead with 3:41 to go in the third. The Cyclones scored six of those points from the foul line as freshman
Kayla Burnett was a perfect 4-for-4 during that stretch.
The two teams traded points over the next several minutes. A jumper from Jacobs with eight seconds on the clock gave Centenary a 42-36 advantage. The Cyclones carried that lead into the fourth quarter.
The Cyclones and Falcons battled on each end of the court to start the fourth quarter. A lay-up from Bossert at 6:17 of the fourth quarter gave the Cyclones a 47-37 edge.
An Escano bucket gave the Cyclones a 53-42 edge with 4:46 showing on the clock.
Another three-point play from Escano at 3:15 put Centenary on top 58-44.
Bossert sunk a pair from the free throw line as the Cyclones grabbed a 62-47 lead with 1:58 to play. That was part of a stretch that saw Bossert go 8-for-8 from the line in the final two minutes and helped secure the win.
Centenary claimed the 69-55 victory.
Centenary shot 48.9 percent from the field, including a 72.7 percent in the fourth quarter. The Cyclones were 23-for-32 from the foul line. Cedar Crest shot 35.7 percent from the field. The Falcons were 11-for-15 from the foul line. Cedar Crest held a 29-27 edge in the rebounding battle.
Bossert finished with a team-high 20 points for the Cyclones. She went 10-for-10 from the foul line and added four rebounds. Escano finished with 14 points while Jacobs and McKenzie each tallied 10 points. McKenzie and sophomore
Carly Tarnowski led the Cyclones on the boards as they each pulled down seven rebounds.
Cabrera led Cedar Crest with a game-high 22 points and eight rebounds.
The Cyclones are back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 12 when they travel to Keystone for a 6 p.m. game.
