Arias and Doyle Score for Women's Lacrosse in Season Opener

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Senior Juliana Arias and sophomore Keirra Doyle each scored for the Centenary women's lacrosse team as the Cyclones opened up the 2020 season on Saturday with a 20-2 loss to Mount Saint Vincent.
 
Arias scored her goal with 14 minutes left in the first half, while Doyle added hers just 2:46 into the second half for the Cyclones.
 
Freshman Daisy Castillo, sophomore Madison Barofski and sophomore Amanda Tietjen each had two ground balls for Centenary, while Castillo had three caused turnovers. Barofski and
Doyle each had two draw controls on the afternoon.
 
In goal, freshman Jenyfer Pereira made four saves.
 
Centenary heads to Purchase on Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m.
