HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Senior
Nicauris Veras had a match-high 10 digs to lead the Centenary University volleyball team against William Paterson in the home opener on Thursday night.
The Pioneers used set wins of 25-7, 25-5 and 25-13 to claim the 3-0 victory.
Freshman
Emerald Richard had a team-high six kills and four digs while senior
Melissa Krueger dished out a team-best 11 assists with four digs. Sophomore
Amelia Rodriguez added seven digs, four kills and two service aces.
Alyson Toman led William Paterson with nine kills while
Kristin Volavka had 23 assists and six digs.
The Cyclones are back in action on Monday, Sept. 9 when they travel to Cairn to open Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play at 7 p.m.
