Estacio Makes Double Digit Saves as Women's Soccer Falls to King's

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Freshman Chelsea Estacio posted her second double-digit saves game of the year but it was not enough as King's College (Pa.) earned a 5-0 victory over the Centenary University women's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon.

A pair of goals from Breanna Jacinto and one from Emily Harrington helped the Monarchs jump out to a 3-0 lead at the half.

Estacio made eight saves for the Cyclones in the first 45 minutes while seniors Raeanna Cope and Stephanie Williams each registered shots on goal.

Jacinto tallied her third goal of the game in the second half while Bekah Araujo had a goal and an assist to help the Monarchs finish off the 5-0 win.

Erica Blackburn made four saves to earn the win in goal for the Monarchs. Estacio added two second half saves to finish with 10 in the game. It was the second time this season she has registered 10 or more saves in a game.

The Cyclones are back in action when they travel to NYU on Saturday, Sept. 21 for a 12 p.m. game.
