Men's Soccer Falls at Muhlenberg

ALLENTOWN, Pa. Chris Richards had two goals and three assists to lead Muhlenberg College past the Centenary University men's soccer team on Saturday evening.

The Mules scored four in the first half and added six in the second stanza for the 10-0 victory over the Cyclones.

Kevin Hagan, Taylan Akdag and Richards each had a goal and an assist in the first 45 minutes of play as the Mules jumped out to the lead at the half.

Sophomore Jahn Lopez and junior Tom Parry each put a shot on goal in the first three minutes of the game but neither was able to get past the Muhlenberg keeper.

Sophomore Will Hodic made a pair of first half saves for the Cyclones.

Richards had a hand in all three of the Muhlenberg goals to start the second half as he sandwiched a pair of assists around a goal.

Lopez and freshman Connor Turko fired off second half shots that went on goal but again the Muhlenberg keeper came up with the save.

Hodic made four second half saves for the Cyclones as the Mules finished off the win.

Raymond Leto started the game in goal for Muhlenberg and made two saves while Lance Lysiak made two saves in relief. Hodic tied his career-high with six saves.

The Cyclones will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 18 when they travel to Montclair State for a 4 p.m. game.
