Baseball Honors Its Seniors Before Falling To Cairn

DENVILLE, N.J. – The Centenary University baseball team honored its seven seniors before falling to Cairn University by a 13-0 score on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.

Prior to the start of the game, the Cyclones recognized seniors Chase Koffel, Frankie Iannone, Casey Brown, Stephen Fedak, Ryan Jasiecki, Brenden Gerity and JT Valley for their contributions to the program.

Cairn scored five runs between the second and fourth innings and took the early lead. Michael Sorowice had a pair of two run home runs for the Highlanders during that stretch.

The Highlanders added single runs in the seventh and eighth innings for a 7-0 advantage.

The visitors tacked on six runs in the top of the ninth for the 13-0 victory.
