LA PLUME, Pa. – Freshman
Sydnie Bogan made 14 saves as the No. 4 Centenary University field hockey team fell to No. 1 Keystone College in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Semifinals on Wednesday afternoon.
Keystone used a five goal second quarter to claim the 9-0 victory.

Savanna Robinson gave the home team a 1-0 lead with her goal in the second minute of the game.
Bogan made seven saves in the first 15 minutes of the game while senior
Dayna Wich recorded a defensive save.
The Giants scored five times in the second period for a 6-0 lead at the half. Robinson struck for a pair of goals while
Jackie Martin had a pair of assists.
Sophomore
Keirra Doyle got off a shot off a penalty corner but it went wide.
Bogan made two more saves in the third quarter but Keystone tacked on a pair of goals for 8-0 advantage.
Doyle got off a shot for the Cyclones in the third stanza but it was blocked.
Bogan recorded two saves in the fourth quarter as Keystone scored one final goal for the 9-0 victory.
Megan Novak did not make a save while earning the win in goal for Keystone. For Bogan, it was the fourth straight game in which she made double digit saves and the fifth time this season.
Centenary concludes its first season with six wins and the trip to the CSAC Tournament. The Cyclones lose Wich and
Elizabeth Karpinski to graduation but will return their top five scorers, including CSAC Rookie of the Year
Jordan Vandermark.
