Christopher Ties a Pair of School Records as Women's Soccer Beats Keystone, 8-0

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Senior Chloe Christopher tied the school record for single-game goals and points while leading the Centenary University women's soccer team to an 8-0 victory over Keystone College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on Saturday afternoon.

Christopher finished the game with five goals and one assist for 11 points. The last Cyclone to have five goals and 11 points in a game was Jazmine Farrell who did so against Old Westbury on Sept. 1, 2010.

The Cyclones wasted little time in getting on the board in this one. Junior Jill Pullis picked off a pass from the Keystone defense and crossed into Christopher for the goal at the 2:10 mark.

Centenary added to its lead in the 18th minute as sophomore Amanda Lebelt scored her fifth goal of the season.

Senior Stephanie Williams gave the Cyclones a 3-0 advantage as she scored off a long ball into the box from junior Gabby Hadzovic at 24:01.

Christopher scored three times in a just over four minute span which pushed the Centenary advantage to 6-0. Junior Karleigh Noll picked up the assist on the middle tally of that stretch.

The Cyclones carried that 6-0 advantage into the halftime break.

The Centenary offense wasn't done yet as Noll scored off a pass from Christopher at 53:09 of the second half.

Christopher scored her fifth of the day to tie the school record at 86:57.

The Cyclones claimed the 8-0 victory.

Freshman Chelsea Estacio made three second half saves to earn the victory in goal. It was her third straight shutout and fourth of the season. Rebekah Shepherd made 12 saves in the loss for Keystone.

Christopher led the Cyclones with her 11-point afternoon. Noll finished with three points on the goal and the assist.

The Cyclones are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 9 when they travel to the College of Saint Elizabeth for a 4 p.m. game.
