Lebelt's Big Day Lifts Women's Soccer Over Notre Dame (Md.), 6-1

BALTIMORE, Md. – Sophomore Amanda Lebelt had two goals and two assists to lead the Centenary University women's soccer team to a 6-1 win at Notre Dame (Md.) on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Lebelt got the Cyclones off a quick start in this one as she scored off a pass from senior Chloe Christopher at the 3:55 mark.

The Cyclones added to their lead at 20:20 as senior Haley Hobbs scored her first of two goals on the day off a pass from Lebelt.

Hobbs' second goal of the day at 31:34 extended the visitors' advantage to 3-0. Senior Stephanie Williams picked up the assists on the tally.

Notre Dame broke up the scoring run by the Cyclones with a goal from Colette Pierce at 35:45.

The Cyclones carried that 3-1 advantage into the half time break.

Lebelt struck for her second of the day just 56 seconds into the second half and pushed the Centenary advantage to 4-1. Senior Raeanna Cope recorded an assist on that tally.

Junior Jill Pullis scored for the Cyclones at 78:34 off a pass from Lebelt.

Centenary capped the scoring on a goal from junior Karleigh Noll at 80:12.

The Cyclones improved to 7-1 in CSAC play with the 6-1 victory.

Freshman Chelsea Estacio made two saves to earn the win in goal. Myla Young made nine saves in the loss for the Gators.

Lebelt finished with six points on the two goals and two assists to lead the Cyclones while Hobbs contributed four points on the two goals.

Centenary closes out the regular season when it hosts Bryn Athyn on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. The Cyclones' seeding for the upcoming CSAC Tournament will be determined by this week's outcomes.
