HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – King's College (Pa.) scored three times in the first 45 minutes to earn a 3-0 victory over the Centenary University men's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon.

The Monarchs got on the board in the 15th minute as Zach Wolcott brought the ball down the sideline closest to the team benches and crossed it into the box where Sam Pipicelli knocked it home.

The visitors added to their lead at 25:33 as Ayrton Omoigui scored off a cross from Quentin Szeker-Cortes on a corner.

King's scored its final goal at 34:53 as August Axtman scored on a penalty kick.

Senior Josh Weiss and freshman Chris Spataro each registered shots on goal in the first half but King's keeper Owen Geedey picked up the saves.

The Monarchs took the 3-0 lead into the half.

The two teams combined for 19 second half shot but neither squad was able to put one on the scoreboard. Senior Roger Fernandez and freshman Besnik Hadzovic each had a shot on goal for the Cyclones.

Geedey posted four saves to lead King's to the 3-0 victory. Senior Devon Warne made five saves while playing the first 75:58 for the Cyclones. Freshman Will Hodic was not forced to make a save in the final 14:02 for Centenary.
