Lebelt Scores for Cyclones at King's

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Freshman Amanda Lebelt scored her first collegiate goal but it was not enough as the Centenary University women's soccer team fell 2-1 at King's College on Wednesday evening.

King's got the scoring started at 6:51 of the first half as Allison Andrew scored off a pass from Stephanie Corea.

The Cyclones got the equalizer at 16:56 as Lebelt settled a ball that was mishandled by the King's goalkeeper and knocked it home.

King's went back on top at 19:39 as Kara Keim took possession of the ball on a failed clear by the Cyclones and scored.

The home team took the 2-1 lead into the half as both teams took six shots in the first 45 minutes of play.

Neither team could find the back of the net in the second half. Kings managed four second half shots while the Cyclones took three.
